The Department of Humanities, Arts and Sciences offers multiple minors and area of special interest options to students at Mines. The environment and sustainability studies minor provides political, social, cultural, economic and historical perspectives on modern environmental challenges. This minor program equips students with the critical and analytical tools that are required to address contemporary environmental challenges.
