Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree
Build Your Future
The Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (MME) program at 麻豆分行 provides students with a fundamental knowledge of the processing, properties, selection and application of structural and functional materials. Students will learn about crystal structures and structural analysis, thermodynamics of materials, transport phenomena and kinetics, phase equilibria and the properties of materials, as well as how to apply this knowledge in materials processing, the design and application of materials, and statistical process control and design of experiments.
In our program, undergraduate students have the option of choosing one of four focus areas:
- Physical and manufacturing metallurgy
- Ceramic and electronic materials
- Physicochemical processing of materials
- Biomaterials
Students will gain foundational knowledge and have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning in our 鈥渉ot shop鈥 alongside a faculty dedicated to your success and your future.
